Why UX?

My background in real estate back home in New Zealand taught me how to listen deeply to people and understand what they truly need. I wanted to apply that human-centered insight directly to product design, creating seamless solutions that make everyday lives easier.

SCAD’s UX Design program has allowed me to bring that vision to life, tackling complex real-world problems alongside a community of incredibly driven, talented design peers.

Design challenges, insightful events, and being a student-athlete. Every facet of SCAD has benefitted me as a designer, community leader, and person.

Outside of design, I am part of the SCAD men's tennis team and have been passionate about the sport for most of my life. I grew up playing piano and violin, and picked up guitar during COVID. When I can, I love trying new food spots and exploring nature.
