Overview
In collaboration with Deloitte, myself and 14 other students reimagined how government digital services could better serve aging users. We focused on improving the accessibility, usability, and trustworthiness of public sector platforms for seniors navigating essential services online.
Using accessibility audits, stakeholder interviews, and rapid prototyping, we uncovered pain points across key government touchpoints. Through iterative design and testing, we proposed UX improvements aligned with WCAG and Section 508 standards, ensuring inclusive, age-friendly experiences for all users.
NDA RESTRICTION
That's all for now.
Due to NDA restrictions with Deloitte, I can only share a high-level overview of this project. That said, I would love to walk you through my process and learnings in a conversation or interview setting.

REFLECTION
What I Took Away
Research Changes Everything
Spending time with real users and watching them navigate complex government platforms was the most valuable part of this project. No assumption survives contact with actual people.
Accessibility is a Right
Designing for aging populations reframed how I think about inclusive design. Accessibility is not a feature. It is the foundation that determines who gets access and who doesn't.
Communicating to Stakeholders
Translating design decisions for a business audience taught me to lead with impact first. Stakeholders think in outcomes, not pixels.
